I've been booking my daughter's hair appointments here for 4 about years now. She typically receives great service as well as friendly and knowledgeable stylists. It's our favorite go-to ,salon! Their rates are fair and affordable . I also love the fact that it's not one of those "come with your hair washed salons " I stay away from those! They are also great with natural hair!

I've taken my daughter here many times & have had great experiences with Destiny, Daarina & Ciar. My only bad experience was recently when I needed to get my daughter in on Sunday & the only option was Sabrina so I booked her. I've never had to pay a deposit before & it's based on the stylist. I booked & even confirmed the day before. I showed up Sunday & she did not. Come to find out it's because I didn't pay a $20 deposit which I would have had it prompted me to. I guess I was supposed to call the shop even tho this is an online booking system. Instead of reaching out once I confirmed the day before she just let it go & decided not to show up. We got lucky that Daarina was there doing another client & she so kindly did my daughter's hair. THAT is good customer service. I'm not sure what is so difficult about reaching out to a client if you see they confirmed. I would never just not show up over $20. I will NEVER book her again even if she was the last resort. There are plenty of great hairstylist here that I would recommend & Sabrina is not one of them. Thank you to Destiny, Daarina & Ciar for providing great experiences! It's stylist like them that would keep me coming back.

Was my 4yr daughter first time in a Salon and Odyessi took care of her real good as well as my 12yr old daughter. Good vibes and very professional ladies there

I brought my 2 little foster babies here several years ago. I'm surprised I never left a review. One was 3 years old and the other was 4. When they came to live with me, their hair was not in good shape. I took them somewhere because I had no idea how to care for their hair and bring it back to healthy. The first place I took them, they screamed and cried because it hurt and the woman just shoved a sucker in their mouth and kept going. It made me cry! I met a woman there that told me she would help me with their hair next time because it shouldn't be traumatic. I called her and she came to my home and helped me with their hair. She spent almost an entire day doing their hair. She was so sweet. I felt bad though that she had to take time away from her kids to come help me. My neighbor told me about Girl Talk Salon. She said when her girls were little, she would bring them here, but both her girls were grown with their own kids now. I made an appointment with Kiarra. I brought my girls in and we spent most of the day there getting their hair done. She made the biggest difference in my 4 year olds hair and confidence. When I brought her, she had bald spots and broken hair all over. She was able to bring health back to her hair and always gave her braids that lifted her up! She never made them cry and worked so well with them. I can not shout out louder for Kiarra. This was about 4 years ago and I don't know if she is still there, but if she is, I want her to know that she really made a difference in their lives. She did their hair for about a year and when they left me, they had beautiful healthy hair. I wish I could upload pictures to show the confidence on their faces after seeing Kiarra, but I don't want to post their faces. I highly recommend Girl Talk Salon and especially Ms. Kiarra!
